Sign up your workplace for a Voter Registration Drive

A National Voter Registration Drive is taking place between 2-8 February.

Young people, disabled people, migrants and ethnic minorities are the most largely underrepresented groups on the electoral register.

The TUC and trade unions are among a number of organisations taking part in the drive to add 250,000 new names to the electoral register.

Quick and simple things you can do to raise awaraness of voter registrations in your workplace

  • Download leaflets and posters and post them on noticeboards and use them on streets stalls.
  • Use TUC email templates to email staff, containing all the information on why and how to register.
  • Encourage your work colleagues, family members and friends to register by going online at aboutmyvote.co.uk ahead of the deadline of 20 April 2015. Alternatively, you can download a form to print and post to your local council.
  • Register your workplace packs

In partnership with Bite the Ballot, the TUC have produced Voter Registration Packs for reps aimed at promoting registration in the workplace. Download the pack (PDF).
