Union Week off to a flying start

Prospect’s Union Week has got off to a flying start with Prospect branches organising events and recruiting new members across the country.

Mike Clancy, Prospect General Secretary said: “Union Week 2017 has got off to a flying start, with Prospect members holding events across the country and recruiting lots of new members.

“Joining a trade union like Prospect is the best way to make your voice heard at work.

“I would like to welcome everyone who has joined Prospect today and hope that they will become involved in their union.”

  • And many other places too...

Norwich Airport was one place with lots of new members joining today. Mandy Farmer, who is a Prospect rep, said: “It has been great to see so many of my colleagues joining during Union Week.

“The more members we have, the more clearly we can make the case for the improvements we would like to see at work.

“I would argue anyone working in aviation needs to join Prospect.”
