Prospect Plus brings new services to members

Prospect members have a wider range of benefits and services thanks to a new partnership with Parliament Hill, the BECTU sector’s services provider

Prospect and BECTU harmonised their services and benefits on 1 June 2018 under the banner ‘Prospect Plus’.

Prospect Plus covers a variety of offers including lifestyle, motoring, shopping, travel, insurance and business.

The new service includes two price promises: the national price promise is that Prospect Plus is the best possible price in the UK. The provider price promise means that the offer is the best possible from that particular company.

Additional benefits

In addition to Prospect Plus, members can also benefit from:

  • independent financial advice
  • free PPI checks
  • debt advice from PayPlan
  • free wills service
  • health and dental plans
  • LV= insurance services.

The union also has an energy club. This runs three times a year and offers members the opportunity to save on their energy bills. The next collective switch will be open for registration from 19 September until 16 October.

Members in education and children’s services and BECTU also have access to professional and public liability  insurance.

Prospect Extra

As a result of the harmonisation, Prospect Extra will close its account on 1 October and members who registered with the service will be able to claim any accrued cashback.

If you would like to discuss the Prospect Extra changes, please contact Tracey Hunt via the Member Contact Centre on 0300 600 1878 or by email: [email protected]
