Following the announcement that Ericsson will be recognising Prospect for the purposes of collective bargaining we committed to arranging some site visits to give members, and prospective members the opportunity to meet the union.Members covered will have received information on this already from Ericsson.

Along with one of our union representatives from the Ericsson Vodafone Managed Services branch, I will be available to chat at the following sites and times. I hope that you will be able to attend what we hope will be interesting and informal drop-in sessions.

We'd like to take the opportunity to gain as good an understanding of the issues that members have who are being brought into union recognition, on a confidential basis. That will assist us in our discussions and approach with Ericsson.

We will also be happy to talk with people who were not members of the union prior to recognition about Prospect, and the benefits of membership. If you have colleagues who have not joined yet, please feel free to share this email with them and encourage them to do so.

In addition we will share our experience of how Prospect and Ericsson have worked together so far.

Finally, to make the union recognition work best we need members to act as reps. We will be electing reps shortly, so if you are interested in helping your colleagues and the union, please do come along for an informal chat.
