Ericsson Pay Negotiations 2011

As you know, Prospect submitted a claim for members covered by collective bargaining in January for a settlement date in the same month. Since then we have met Ericsson for negotiations on numerous occasions.

Our intention had been to conclude negotiations by the end of March and to be in a position to ballot members on an offer.

Unfortunately we have not yet been able to put a pay offer in front of you.

Ericsson have stressed throughout the financial pressures it continues to be under and the constraints that this places on its ability to meet our claim.

That said, we have had constructive talks with Ericsson and some progress has been achieved. Both your employer and your union's objectives remain to make an agreement on pay for 2011 and to reach that in a reasonable time frame.

We understand that this will not be the news that you wished for, however your negotiating team from both Prospect branches remain determined to continue negotiations, for now, in order to put an offer to members.
