The evidence checks cover the following policies:
- innovation in, and accelerated access to, healthcare
- smart meters
- digital government
- flexible working and facilitating working away from the office.
Committee chair Nicola Blackwood said the four policy areas would be added to in the coming months, adding: " I hope that these evidence checks will prove a valuable way to examine how the government uses evidence to make policy and I would encourage everyone — whether experts in the fields or not — to send us their thoughts and insights."
The deadline for public comment is 29 January.
