Prospective MPs in Scottish seats provide answers to key Prospect questions

In late May, Prospect national Secretary in Scotland, Richard Hardy, wrote to the four main parties' candidates in the five constituencies with the largest numbers of Prospect members in Scotland.

The five constituencies are: Argyll and Bute; Edinburgh North & Leith; Caithness Sutherland and Easter Ross; Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath and East Lothian.

Sue Ferns, deputy general secretary also wrote to candidates in Dunfermline and West Fife as part of Prospect's wider campaigning.

Prospect asked the candidates to respond to a number of questions which reflect the interests of Prospect members living in those constituencies.

The candidates have now started to respond and we are updating our website as those answers come in.

The questions and answers for each of the constituencies can be found here

As a politically independent trade union, Prospect would not tell its members how to vote. But it does hope that the answers provide additional important information to members which will help them make a choice on election day.
