Feedback from representatives was positive and wide ranging and set out their hopes and expectations for building on Angela Moffats' appointment as Prospect's first full time officer working in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. In particular representatives were keen for Prospect to have a permanent base and for Prospect to build on our presence and profile . 

As a result of Mike's meeting with Owen, along with Angela, Prospect National Secretary for Scotland and Ireland Richard Hardy and Head of Organisational Development Nicola Duffy, Mike was able to tell the representatives that Prospect will continue to operate out of the ICTU building on Donegall Street for the foreseeable future.

"It was a really positive meeting with Owen, and we'd like to say thanks to the ICTU for helping us over the initial set up period and now offering us a more permanent home, we really look forward to working together going forward. Clearly the reps want to see us grow our presence here and a permanent base will allow Richard and his team to make concrete staffing plans going forward"
