Freedom of information requests have revealed pension tax charges are skyrocketing among public sector members.

While working in the private sector, our Energy sector members perform a vital public service and we are keen to understand how members in management, leadership and specialist roles in the sector are being affected by these rules and the subsequent impact this has on the delivery of services.

This will help inform our policy on this matter and could form part of an evidence base for us to lobby government.
